In the Lord's Names I take refuge,
through these above all am I sensitive
to the pains of Humankind and its suffering –
and the suffering it visits upon Nature;
and these alone are the balm to my pain,
these alone the balm for this suffering.
So I take refuge there, in the Lord's Names,
