The Hypocrisy of Schock and Dismay

I'm reminded of that adorable moment in "Casablanca" when German Paul Henreid tells Claude Rains of the Vichy-French Police to shut down American Bogey's Club and Casino on account of the Resistance-hero leading the band in "La Marseillaise" to drown out the Germans' "Die Wache am Rhein". Claude Rains sounds his raid whistle and calls for the joint to be closed and everyone to vacate the premises.

Bogey to Rains: "Say, you can't close this place down! What gives you the right?"
Rains: "I am shocked – SCHOCKED – to see gambling taking place on these premises!"
Bogey's jaw drops, just then a roulette table employee approaches Rains with a handful of cash: "Your winnings, Sir!", which Rains discretely stuffs into his uniform jacket and carries on with the raid.

Maybe everyone's up to date on the sex-and-starlet scandal surrounding Harvey Weinstein. Maybe some are not. After all, I only caught it today, from the just-a-notch-above Tabloid called "The Morgenpost". And having just caught it, I immediately caught on.

1. I caught on to the oddness of the entire scandal-of-it-all outrage and hype. I'm not referring to the actual story itself, it is what it is, presuming it is, and I'll leave it at that. I am referring to the Story Behind the story, i.e., the real script in this smarmy swamp shared by Democrats and Hollywood – not the scandal itself, as if I'd be suggesting Republicans are clean – it's the smarminess and the damning hypocrisy of everything about this. It's not what it says about moral decay and the low-brow ethics of the industry and Democrat politics – it's what it says about their moral (and sub-moral) posturing and their hypocrisy of histrionic Hillary-hailing and Trump-bashing!

2. Turbo-driven casting couches go back to the very beginnings of Hollywood, the very beginnings of Babelsberg, and studio hotshots in the film industry all over and in between, from capitalist to communist, from national- to internationalsocialist – from the years of the silents through all the eras and decades, to the present day. So shaddup about “being shocked and dismayed“!

3. All the actresses I've seen named as coming out on this and breaking the silence – and why all those twenty years of silence until just right now, by the way? – the big names, the Jolies, the Paltrows, the Streeps, the Winslets, and the actors as well – the Afflecks, the Clooneys, the DiCaprios – and Harvey Weinstein himself of course as contributor of millions to Obama and to Hillary: all Hillary campaigners, all Obama Democrats and all on the Liberal Democratic bandwagon and what it revealed itself to be as its most harrowing vision in the course and image of Hillary's rancid campaign.

4. We've been privy to Bill Clinton's entire career escapades prior to and during eight years of the Oval Office, we've been privy to Hillary's career and to their career together as Bonnie and Clyde. And we want to talk here so suddenly, so shocked and dismayed, about abuse of power and about sexual coercion? We want to talk here so suddenly, so shocked and dismayed, about hush-money? We want to talk here so suddenly, so shocked and dismayed about how the film industry ticks? Hello???

5. Hillary's only shot at the Big Oval – and having lost it she wound up with a million Pink Pussies as dubious consolation – was getting Madonna, Beyonce, Rhianna, and such, with no more substance on her own part than they'd credited to Trump, and it was a smash failure. Madonna gyrating for Hillary, and in this very connection offering blow jobs to any or to every male there that night who'd vote for Hillary? And these Democrats are shocked and dismayed at a Harvey Weinstein? The renowned Mustang Ranch in Nevada was offering discounts for their services to customers who'd vote for Hillary? And these Democrats are shocked and dismayed at a Harvey Weinstein?

6. Is this all being timed right now, this year, as part of the anti-Trump, the “Anti“fa, the Sisters and Non-Men Uprising of the Upstanding against all that sexism and "rapiness" (rapaciousness being a dollar-word you would not find in their 10-cent vocabulary), a Distraction from what really is going on? Of course Weinstein is going on, that's just right there staring at you. I'm not talking about Weinstein or what he did or didn't do or what he's acused of or if he gets what's comnig to him. Is that much clear by now? Look past that for once, friends, and see what it is I am directing my attention on, and I hope – I wish – yours as well.

7. It certainly makes for a timely Distraction from the flagrantly missing pieces concerning Las Vegas.

8. Is this not just another Grand Distraction and Manipulation, sleight-of-hand if you will, against our seeing, our investigating, our knowing, our addressing and our exposing – of what really is (and has been all along as well) right there in front of us, what has been told us by witnesses, by victims, by investigative reporting? I am speaking of the massive systematic pedophilia, the network which extends throughout Washington, is in the Clinton blood, throughout Hollywood, throughout the Democratic Party. Oops! Am I excusing anyone in this outside the Democratic Party? Absolutely not!

What I am visiting my wrath on at this moment, is the brazen hypocrisy of Democrats in all of this. So shaddup about "being shocked and dismayed"!
