It actually was about the high taxation of gasoline in the first place, and already untenably higher taxes and urban rent prices - in the face of poor representation of the people's demands.  That ever rising taxation however, on top of the Macron/Merkel led and EU-Brussels enforced UN Global Migration Compact and its accompanying "Refugee Compact", both of which will be signed into effect with all other coerced and compliant countries on December 11th in Marrakesh, was the last straw.

What has broken out and moreover, spread like a California wild fire - with the exception that here the thoroughly charred-to-a-shell vehicles all still had their wheels intact, if not still their tires, as these were normal grades of normal fire - is a tour de force across France, now Brussels itself and even parts of the Netherlands, in response to the tour de farce.  Just not in Germany, you still cannot move the bulk of this population, a self-condemned worm of obedient toadying compliance, cowardice and conformity.  The Germans just aren't French, even in the best sense of the word.

While the torching of vehicles and property, looting of stores, etc., can all be attributed to the French "Anti"fa which as we well know are always attracted to street confrontations like flies to shit, and can be counted on to drag any possibly good thing into their own chaos and destruction (there were "Anti"fa rioters actually seen by reporters on the scene, putting their police badges back ona s they returned to their own police ranks after their masquerade!) - and while there are here and there a few of the usual suspects from right-wing extremists also often planted there by government agencies - all this aside, the immense majority of who all has been on those streets and still defiantly are, from which societal constellation this originated:  are the angry French, now the angry Belgians and angry Dutch, middle-class civilians.  For once, this is everyone out there, not even about right vs. left, left vs. right, but in fact about sending a loud and boisterous message to the homo-erotic toyboy Macron and his honestly decadent elite ("Let zem eat taxis!"), and forcing that message onto the steps of the EU's own Tower of Babble in its very Belgian capital.

 

But enough about Macron, suppose any of this reaches Merkel?...

 Sorry...guess not.

There have been many injuries, there have been some deaths.  The police have been seen time and again in independent footage, holding back toward the visibly identifiable "Anti"fa - cop-haters by profession - never really going after them, looking rather cucked.  Yet the same police have been seen in independent footage using their night sticks and tear gas generously and copiously on elderly protesters out of that very middle class which had taken to the streets in the first place, on retirees, on unarmed and nonviolent civilians - who, being French and not German still remain determined to hang in there, barring the dead and seriously wounded among them, to show face and deliver Resistance.  Police snipers have been observed perched - and locking and loading - on high rooftops, people have been shot on the streets with live rounds from above, and on the ground with rubber dum-dum rounds which also do serious damage.  C'est domage - yet even this will not deter the movement we are watching.  I do not care whether Merkel "gets it" or not, she's been half removed anyway - U.S. Ambassador Grenell has made that diplomatically clear.  I am far more concerned that the German public still does not get it, and only the patriots among us here - you know, the press' "Nazis" - have linked up in solidarity with ze French at the Alsace-Lorraine border and at the last AfD demo in Berlin.

But something is shifting now, something has just occurred for which we've waited several years in vain in Germany and will find ourselves waiting even longer still:  The French police have switched sides, and the emergency paramedic services as well, the Firefighters showing up to the routine and strictly regulated appelle turned their backs toward their OIC during Formation out of solidarity with the yellow-vested protesters - this is an epic turn of events, an unheard-of breakthrough of morale - and it is not looking good for Macron's credibility as President.  The beatings are coming to a halt, the heavy water cannons, the shootings.  Because the people of this civilian population are holding out, they are seeing this through, come blood sweat and tear gas - they are not Germans.  And it is paying off, at least to a significantly symbolical extent.

So you have the streets hopping not only in Paris, non non - but in major cities and in towns all across Frnace. As is to be expected, along comes "Anti"fa and/or other planted provocateurs, to turn the spirited civil confrontation into violent chaos and mayhem. Then you have Macron's police forces.

However: Many police have just been seen responding to the Civil, original protesters' challenge or invitation, by removing their helmets and joining cause with them - IN FACT, it has led to the entire police force and its unions nation-wide calling for a General Strike to begin this Saturday - joined in this by the paramedic services and the Firefighters - on the 8th of December and remain at this status over undetermined time! This may result in the EU bringing in its Armed Forces. After all, the Lisbon Accords actually provide for the use of deadly force by an EU-Military out of Brussels to put down any uprisings resulting from policies by that same - never elected - EU Government.  (Or it may yet surprise us with something else - no one had expected what the 1989 East-German demos would bring.)

Speaking of Brussels - and now we can throw in the Dutch Haag as well - the protests have now reached the streets there, and from what I hear and what we've seen, the Belgians when they hit the streets are known for being even more direct than the French on this. They have stormed the EU-Parliament even as the Parisians stormed the Stock Exchange, the Tuileries and the Champs-Élysées - and the Dutch as mentioned: the Haag.
Only the Germans still remain clueless.

Entweder Merkel oder Deutschland

NRW, 14.5.2017:

Die Deutschen haben was sie wollen und werden alles kriegen, was sie dafür gar verdient haben. Man kann keinen Mensch helfen, der nicht zu helfen ist – keinen – und das sind sie eindeutlich, nicht.

Entweder Merkel muss weg oder Deutschland. Die NRW-Wähler haben mit eigener Hand und eigenen Stift, deren Entscheidung getroffen, deren Schicksal besiegelt. Sie können weder sonst jemand jemals den Schuld bzw. die Verantwortung geben, noch dürfen sie je wieder vom „3. Reich“ reden oder durch DDR-Erfahrung „gelernt“ zu haben. Sie sind zu blöd für Demokratie oder Rechtsstaat – und sind dazu immer nicht gewachsen. Sie haben dementsprechend an die Wahlurne „gehandelt“. Sie wollen einen Diktatur wieder, sie werden ihn weiter haben, und basta. Sie arrangieren sich schon mit dem straffreien Begriff gegen sich selbst: „Köterrasse“. Denn so benehmen sie sich auch.

Also doch lieber „Deutschland muss weg“. Und Merkel sorgt dafür, sie sagt: „DAS werden wir schaffen, doch das schaffen wir.“ Jetzt kann sie einmal ehrlich: „wir“ sagen.
Merkel gestern, an ihren eigenen Hype glaubend, dachte tatsächlich, das NRW-Resultat sei, extra für sie, ein Muttertagsgeschenk.

Sie wählen noch die CDU, als Abhilfe für die grottige SPD und Grünen Politik! Die selbe CDU, die ihnen die Suppe erst eingebrockt hat! Und wie ist es möglich, das die FDP 12,1% bekommt?! Ach - „nur nicht die AfD“, diese Schein „Diversity“ Schleimer halten wie unreife Sekten-Novizen an deren alten Rille. Lieber ein voll TÜV-untaugliches Auto fahren das man längst kennt, als ein stabiles neueren was den Nachbarn nicht „passt“.

Unserer Aufgabe ist es nicht, die Bevölkerung zu „ändern“ oder zu „überzeugen“. Das werden sie aus eigener Kraft und Charakter erreichen – oder auch nie. Unserer Aufgabe ist es, standhaft NEIN zu sagen, dran zu halten, dazu zu stehen, aufklärend posten bzw. Rede halten.

Durch unser NEIN, ein JA zu all dem wofür wir stehen, wofür wir friedlich und entschlossen auf die Strasse gehen. Wenn doch etwas daraus kommt, wäre's sowieso außerhalb unserer Macht und Tun. Wenn etwas sich DOCH ändert, hat sich die Bevölkerung von sich – als Volk – erweckt.

Ich glaube nur an unser NEIN, das bleibt noch in unseren Hände. Aber wir stehen weiterhin zur Realität und bleiben weiterhin bei unserem NEIN, komme was mag.

Noch ein kurze Wort zur Heimatslage, mein AmiLand:
Ein Facebook-Mitkommendierender aus der Heimat schlug als amtlicher Name Trumps ironisch vor: „Präsident der der Vereinigten Terrorisierten Staaten“. Meine Reflektion darauf lautete wie folgt:

Ich habe schon seit Monaten die Terroristen auf den Straßen gesehen, an legitime registrierte Veranstaltungen Einschüchtern, bedrohlich und angreifend, am Schädigen Journalisten-Kameras, am Brände Stiften, am Zerstörung des öffentlichen und privaten Eigentums, immer selber maskiert, weil ihr Terror nur durch ihre Feigheit abgestimmt ist, mal im idiotischen „Pussy-Zeug“ gekleidet, und Redner und Teilnehmer bei Vorträge oder Symposien anschreien, wenn nicht auch mit Pfefferspray, Steinen werfen oder Stöcke angreifend.

Ja, ich habe diese Terroristen in Staaten wie Kalifornien, Oregon, Washington, New York und einigen anderen gesehen. Ich habe ihr schrilles Jammern gehört oder ihre unerklärlich prellungenfreie Gesichter im Interview gesehen, als es darum ging, endlich einen echten Body-Check von jemandem bekommen zu haben, den sie versuchten einzuschüchtern. Ich kenne diese Terroristen hier in Deutschland, und sie sind die selben in Frankreich und in den Staaten. Sie sind alle direkt bzw. indirekt von Soros finanziert und jenen eliten, abgestumpften politischen Parteien. Ich habe diese Terroristen gesehen, wie sie ihre Brownshirt-Taktik (nur heute ist es schwarz oder auch Regenbogen) auf die Anhänger eines derzeit sitzenden Präsidenten üben, wie ich noch nie – nie! – gesehen habe, nachdem entweder Bush oder Obama gewählt wurden (im letzteren Fall meine schlimmsten Ängste auf dies erwies sich als unbegründet).

Ich habe für Trump gestimmt, weil „jeder“ sagte „das nicht zu tun“; ich habe auf jedem „Risiko“ gegen Hillary gestimmt, weil „jeder“ sagte „Hillary!“ und weil Madonna versprochen hatte, jeden Typ zu blasen, der Hillary wählt - und hat nicht bei ein einzigem eh gemeint. Dies sei ein sehr „überzeugendes“ Argument ihrerseits gewesen. Sie fuhr fort, sich als „führender Feminist*in“ zu bezeichnen, vor dem Mob-On-Washington (DC) ihren Wunsch zu erkundigen, sie könnte das Weiße Haus ab-blasen, also sprengen. Weil der Donald gewonnen hat. Natürlich mag er keine Lösung sein, geschweige denn „die“ Lösung, natürlich könnte er viele Wähler enttäuschen. Alles ist möglich. Mein eigener hauptsächliche Lackmus-Test bei ihm ist, ob er tatsächlich seine Agenda um Maßnahmen gegen dem Pädophil-Netzwerk, wie versprochen, durchsetzt. Aber eines kann ich sagen, wir haben nicht die Alternative: wir haben keine Hillary im Oval. Und das mag schon ein Anfang sein.

A fellow commentator suggested "President Of United Terrorized States" as "not a bad acronym" as an afterthought to his mis-typing "POTUS".

Reflecting on this - the suggestion, not the mis-typing - my response was as follows:

I've seen the terrorists on the streets since months now, breaking up legitimate registered rallies, intimidating, threatening and attacking, breaking journalists' cameras, setting fires, destroying public and private property, masking themselves because their terror is matched only by their cowardice, wearing idiotic "pussy-gear" and screaming down speakers and attendees of lectures, symposiums, when not macing, stoning or clubbing them. Yes, I've seen these terrorists in States like California, Oregon, Washington, New York, and some others. I've heard their shrill whining or seen their curiously unbruised faces in interviews when it came to finally getting a real body-check from someone they were trying to intimidate. I know these terrorists here in Germany, and they are the same ones in France, and in the States. They're all directly/indirectly financed by Soros and those elite, jaded political parties (I've mentioned on the German side of the matter) who suit their step with his. I've seen these terrorists bring their brownshirt tactics (only today it's black or else rainbow) down on supporters of a currently sitting President such as I had never ever seen after either Bush or Obama were elected (in the latter case my worst fears on this proved unfounded). I'd voted for Trump because "everyone" said "not to", I'd voted at any "risk" against Hillary because "everyone" said "Hillary!" and because Madonna had promised to blow any guy who would - and didn't anyway. This being a very "convincing" argument on her part, she went on to address as "leading feminist" that Mob-On-Washington, wishing she could blow (up) the White House. Because The Donald won. Of course, he may not be a solution, let alone "the", of course he may wind up disappointing a lot of voters. Anything's possible. My own main litmus test with him is whether he actually pushes his agenda on the matter of pedophila as promised. But one thing I can say, we don't have the alternative, we don't have Hillary in the Oval. And that may be a start.

My Candle Burned Long Before Paris Did

My Candle Burns 24/7, Bearing Witness.

I keep a six-day oil candle burning at my third-storey window in Berlin, with its view toward the street, toward the world. The flame is never permitted to go out. It is there because I cannot be everwhere, I cannot rescue or comfort or intervene for every victim of a perpetrator, or any homeless person dying anonymously on the street for that matter. This flame is my covenant with God, that I may bear witness - and be with them in light.

This candle burned for Paris already well before Nov. 11th, and it quietly, stoically still burns for Madrid, for Mumbai, for Beslan, for Sydney, for London, for Oslo, for Moscow, for Tel Aviv and Jerusalem - long after they've been forgotten by the media-frenzy.

And it is burning now for Berlin, for Germany, for the next "unexpected surprise" prepared for us by "The-Religion-Of-Peace" and its most loyal adherents.

Driven by Gutmensch-media hype, something so therapeutically urgent as schock, trauma and mourning become manipulated and instrumentalized and therewith diverted from facing the matter eye to eye and coming to terms with the perpetration of these horrors, naming it - which urgent undertaking will get you maligned here, publicly pilloried, and soon charged and arrested.

It is coming to Germany, and those who have sworn oaths of office here to act for the wellfare of Germans and Germany can only concern themselves with accusations of slander and "Islamophobia".

My candle burns, and because I spend every day and night concerned with the unabated shock, trauma and mourning, I will not be surprised when it comes and it will not be unexpected. And I will not kid myself about it.

I notice so many carrying the French tri-couleur, which is perfectly alright in itself - they mean to show solidarity with the victims of Friday's massacre. I'll pass, just as I didn't join all of Berlin and elsewhere in wearing a "je suis Charlie" (because for concrete reasons I'm not Mr. Hebdo).

When however, exactly such a massacre also occurs in DoitchLand where I reside, as even the Officialdom of Appeasement here no longer denies or rules this out - I am really curious if anyone anywhere will carry the German Federal tri-couleur of black red and gold. I KNOW the sitting Chancellor will not, I'll bet the farm on it. She proved this at her third election victory night, 2013, on nation-wide TV as she ripped one out of the hand of a Party colleague and threw it on the floor in disdain. And she proves it every day as she sells out her people.

The German Chancellor, whose name I cannot even mention, had appointed with "her full trust" a Minister of Finance who to this day refuses to answer to concrete charges of embezzlement through illegal weapons trade to the tune of 100,000 Euro. He's still secure in his office, no worries.

And over a 1.50 error - one Euro and fifty cents - roughly a year ago, a supermarket cashier gets fired for this unspeakable crime. She has worries.

(I hear rumors that Count Dracula will be appointed night-watchman at the German Federal Bloodbank.)

Meanwhile, this Administration's (it's her third, she's campaigning for #4) currently appointed and likewise job-secured Minister of the Interior (our Sec. of State) was formerly deeply involved in the matter of a pedophile ring which he as Minister of Saxony had covered up and never allowed charges to be brought. He now tells the public that what just happened in Paris yesterday "has nothing to do with" the EU asylum policy or the flood of "refugees." That's the current umbrella word for any and all folks coming through as many as three secure countries to reach DoitchLand, and lots of 'em in no way beating feet out of a war zone nor even appearing to. I would trust this Interior Minister to have the gall to likewise tell us that that pedophile ring had nothing to do with child abuse. No worry there.

I am not making this up: in Austria a guy interviewed in normal TV related how he'd been fined 50 Euro - yes 50 - for merely passing gas because he'd had to, outdoors in the open air - but had made the grievous error of having stood near a "Refugee center" at that ominous moment and therewith offended Muslim sensibilities. (Monty Python did not write this, and they could never have topped it.)

With a sitting Chancellor who'd been as obedient to the East German Regime as her father before her had (who'd gone over early on as "The Red Pastor," out of conviction), it is small wonder to see the sheer madness unfolding here under the auspices of an extreme Left dictatorship-in-the-making, in a staged and strenuous climate of appeasement and dumbing down.

Concerning Paris, I already got a small taste of the reactions from "Gutmenschen" toward what I'd posted on the matter, as more of such responses, and angrier, may be expected. To point out an unpopular truth is too much confrontation for the comfort zone of so many - it gets you censored and in Germany will soon get you brought up on charges of incitement, attacked, and perhaps jail time.
This reaction is predictable yet curious. Over the past couple years or more, depending on the phase of events and my awakening to them, I've moved from passive dismay to active and very non-cooperative action, out of deep concern for more lives than those reacting to me have ever lost sleep over.

I'm reminded metaphorically here of the widely-known family dysfunction lived out in the actual childhoods of some actual people close to me: the father physically, psychologically, verbally and sexually abuses the children. And the mother looks on and puts up with it, comforting the children after having ignored them, nursing their wounds with bandaids, and telling them to show their father understanding and patience, tolerance and appeasement, respect and obedience - expecting them to "live with it" and thereby adding emotional abuse to their trauma. She DOES NOT just take the kids and leave her husband for safety and a better life.

The "father" in this case is "The-Religion-of-Peace." The "mother" is all of the current EU political elite, from Brussels to Berlin, and Washington, all of the mainstream TV and press media, the entire manipulated establishment - insulting all of our intelligence and abusing our horror and grief with artificial piety, bromides stock full of banality, staged shock and dismay, manipulative avoidance, active appeasement enjoined on the respective native populations forced to endure an unspeakably massive and cynically deceptive Agenda of uncontrolled, unchecked flooding of Europe with (in their words our "enrichment" by) real-world Muslim culture and practices.

Leaving you, us, my kids and yours, out to dry, leaving us all in the gravest of danger.
So I may be pardoned my wrath. I cannot watch this. For your sakes and mine.

PARIS THIS VERY EVENING: "The-Religion-of-Peace" (TROP) - Europe's "enrichment" - strikes again! Gutmenschen are shocked and are still confused over what "Allahu-akbar" means or who on earth would send suicide bombers and create such mayhem taking 100 hostages - and murdering these as well in record time! This was during a France-Germany game at the stadium, in addition to which open marketplaces were hit. Germany still doesn't get it, but is next.
